My Spring Break Moment

            Even though things did not go as I planned because I wanted to go to the beach, have a barbecue and go to the pool with my friends, my plans changed a lot during the weekend and I ended up doing something else. I got the opportunity to go to my best friend’s house and spend time with him doing a lot of cool stuff. We shot a bb gun, we went to his small ranch in the back of his house (wonderful view), I also helped him take the transmission out of his car (Volvo Jetta) and we did a lot of other things he took me on a tour around his town and the best part was when I was cutting his hair, unfortunately my cameras battery died before anybody could take a picture of me cutting his hair. I gave him a Mohawk and it was cool, but then he told me to finish cutting his hair cause if he kept the Mohawk he had to use gel and he does not like to use gel that much. Me spending time with him was pretty cool he is and I say this with all sincerity the first friend I ever made and college and we stuck together by each other’s side no matter what. He has been there for me like I have for him. So even things did not turn out like I planned, at least I got the chance to hang out with my best friend and do some interesting and fun stuff I will never forget and if he ever reads this all I can say is: “Thanks bro you showed me the true meaning of having a great friend”.

My response

            Obama’s speech about Libya really moves me, therefore we know he is trying to help the people in Libya, but we also know he did not have to get himself involved in this and when I mean himself I mean America. I have to compare Obama to Bus 44 therefore we see a hero in Bus 44 and that hero stood up for what was wright. When the hero said are you just going to stand there and do nothing at all, he notices that nobody does anything  and he decides to help the bus driver even if he failed in the attempt. Well that is what Obama is doing. He notices that the government in Libya is corrupt and they do not care about there people all they care about is there power and control. In some eyes Obama may look like a guy who wants to get into everybody’s business, but he wants to make the world a better place and we have to start by helping others in need just like he is doing in Libya.
